Whitfield County Man Arrested in Child Exploitation Investigation

WHITFIELD COUNTY, Ga. — A Whitfield County man has been arrested in connection with a child exploitation investigation involving hundreds of illicit images, according to the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities said that on Dec. 10, 2025, detectives with the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office arrested Trevor Lee Teasley of Whitfield County on a charge of sexual exploitation of children under O.C.G.A. 16-12-100. Investigators reported the case involved more than 350 inappropriate images of children.

Sheriff Darren J. Pierce personally assisted detectives in serving the arrest warrant, the sheriff’s office said.

Teasley is currently being held at the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center, where he is awaiting his first court appearance. Authorities said he is being held without bond at this time.

The investigation remains under the jurisdiction of the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office.

All charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
