Two charged with assault and kidnapping

WHITE COUNTY, Ga. – On the evening of October 6, 2024, deputies from the White County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an escaped kidnapping victim located in Clermont, Georgia.

The victim managed to free herself from her restraints and sought help at a nearby residence. The home’s occupants immediately contacted 911, and White County Deputies were promptly dispatched.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

Following an extensive investigation into the incident, the suspects have been identified as Ashley Nicole Sosebee age 32 of Cornelia and Dylan Anthony Forrester age 30 from Gainesville.

Both suspects are known to the victim. The investigation is ongoing.

Arrest warrants have been issued for both individuals on the following charges:

• Ashley Nicole Sosebee: Aggravated Assault (2 counts), Kidnapping
• Dylan Anthony Forrester: Aggravated Assault (2 counts), Kidnapping
