HOMER, Ga. — Three men have been arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery reported at a Banks County convenience store, according to the Banks County Sheriff’s Office.
The alleged robbery occurred on Wednesday, June 10, at Homertown Grocery, located on Georgia Highway 51 at Sycamore Street in Homer.
Deputies responded to the scene after receiving a report of the incident. Upon arrival, authorities determined that the suspects had fled before law enforcement officers arrived.
Following an investigation, the suspects were identified as Quinton Xavier Burden, 53, Patrick O’Neil Drayton, 41, and Nazzaar Parker, 36.
On Thursday, June 11, Banks County deputies, working in coordination with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, located and arrested the three suspects at a location in Hall County.
As of Friday afternoon, all three men remained incarcerated in the Banks County Jail on armed robbery charges.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the circumstances of the robbery or whether any injuries were reported. The investigation remains ongoing.
