Suspect arrested after multiple vehicle break-ins

PRESS RELEASE – On November 1, 2024 around 1:19am, Deputies responded to University Heights in reference to suspicious males dressed in all black that were pulling on the door handles of vehicles.

Deputies observed the silver Hyundai passenger car travelling on Morrison Moore and attempted to stop the vehicle.

The Hyundai failed to stop and the deputies pursued the vehicle.

The Hyundai wrecked on Town Creek Church Road and all occupants fled the vehicles.

The individuals stole a Toyota 4-Runner from Garnet School Road around 7:30am and fled law enforcement again.

When deputies responded to the area of Town Creek Church Road and Garnet School Road, they made contact with Christian Sieverding, an 18-year-old male from Martin, Georgia and he was identified as one of the occupants in the Hyundai.

At this time Christian is in custody and warrants have been sought for the other two males involved.

As of this date, over 20 vehicles are reported to have been broken into on the night of October 31st and November 1st.
