ELLIJAY, Ga. – The Pueblo Cantina in Ellijay is having a grand re-opening tomorrow, May 19, after a truck drove through the side of the building on Saturday.
Although they were officially open today, they are having a grand re-opening tomorrow to celebrate the hard work that went into fixing the building and the dedication they have to continue to serve their customers.
On the incident that occurred Saturday, reportedly, an eighteen-year-old driver of a pickup truck had mechanical issues with the breaks of the truck.
This led to the unfortunate incident of a pickup truck driving through the side wall of the restaurant.
Carlos, the manager of the Pueblo Cantina, spoke highly of how fast they were able to rebuild after the incident and stated that they were able to complete the work in just three days.
He also said they were eager to serve their customers and happy to welcome everyone back so soon!
“We love everyone here and we were very worried about what is going to happen last Saturday night but we were able to get everything done so we are good and ready to serve our customers again.”
