Police chase into Floyd County

BREAKING NEWS – A reported police chase took place in Highway 27 southbound passing Highway 140 toward Rome.

A Georgia State Patrol trooper was in a high-speed pursuit of a sports bike.

According to reports, the chase involved speeds of  over 160 mph and continued toward Rome.

The Georgia State Patrol ‘terminated’ the chase for the motorcycle, with some suggesting that it was in the interest of the safety for all involved, other motorist and pedestrians.
