Drug arrest in Towns County

PRESS RELEASE – On Tuesday March 19th, during concentrated patrols targeting the Gumlog Road area, a Towns County Sheriff’s Office deputy conducted a traffic stop near Barnard Road.

During the traffic stop, probable cause was developed to search the vehicle where an amount of Methamphetamine, which field tested positive, was seized.

Robert Curtis Parker, age 31, Brasstown, NC was arrested and charged with:
• Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
• Driving While License Suspended or Revoked
• Probation Violation
