Driver airlifted after colliding with a tractor-trailer

HABERSHAM COUNTY, Ga. – On Tuesday morning, April 17, Habersham County Emergency Services responded to a two-vehicle wreck on U.S. 441 around 8:00 a.m.

According to Georgia State Patrol, the wreck occurred at the road’s intersection with Turkey Crest Road when a Ford Escape failed to yield at the intersection and cause a tractor-trailer traveling north to collide with the ford.

The driver of the ford had to be airlifted due to injuries sustained during the crash.

GSP is continuing to investigate this serious crash.
