Dawson County Sheriff’s Office Investigates Entering-Auto Reports Near Stonewall Subdivision

DAWSON COUNTY, Ga. – The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple entering-auto incidents reported Monday night in and around the Stonewall Subdivision, according to a statement from the agency.

Deputies said the individuals believed to be involved have been identified, and several cases have been opened as the investigation continues.

Residents who discover their vehicle was entered or items were taken during the same timeframe are encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office so a report can be documented.

The agency noted that deputies responded quickly to the reports and acted proactively in both the investigation and the identification of those believed to be responsible. Officials also thanked community members for reporting suspicious activity and assisting in the response.
