Car Fire on Jonica Gap

A car fire in the extreme northwest end of Union County on Jonica Gap at the Fannin County line brought out firefighters from Union County Volunteer Station 4 and Station 1 on 1/18/22. First arriving units found a minivan completely involved in fire. Upon the arrival of Tanker 4 and Rescue 4, the fire was quickly extinguished. One unit from Station 1 remained on scene to assist. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is unknown. Photos are courtesy of the vehicle owner.
