Braselton Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Utility Workers

BRASELTON, Ga. — A 48-year-old Braselton man was arrested Friday after allegedly threatening to harm utility workers, according to authorities.

George Edward Marks was arrested on Aug. 7, 2026, and charged with terroristic threats and acts.

Authorities did not provide additional details regarding the circumstances surrounding the alleged threats or what led to the arrest.

“We take these types of threats seriously,” officials said.
