The Gilmer County Bobcats Wrestling team is back in the Elite Eight Duals after defeating North Hall and Appling County over the weekend.

After winning the Area title, the Bobcats earned the right to host the State Duals Prelims. In their first match against North Hall, Gilmer came away with a 50-26 victory. In their second match vs Appling County, the home team really showed out and beat the Pirates 81-0.

Up next for the Cats is an Elite Eight matchup with Murray County. Gilmer is just 3 wins away from another State Duals Title!
