At the October Board of Education Meeting, students from Banks County Primary, Banks County Elementary, Banks County Middle and Banks County High School were recognized for academic excellence. Teachers chose students for their commitment, dedication, and hard work during the school year.
Banks County Primary School – the following students were recognized for Academic Excellence:
Aubree Bennett, Clayton Smith, Emery Vitug, Emerick Ellison, Adelade McCoy, and Max Hunter.
Banks County Elementary School – the following students were recognized for academic areas:
Charlie Steele- Highest MAP Score, Oliver McFaddin -Highest Beacon Store, Lyric Dunagan-Highest Milestone Score in English/Language Arts, Jett Shoemaker- Highest Milestone Score in Math, Rebekah Thomason -Highest Milestone Score in English/Language Arts, Bryson Brock -Highest Milestone Score in Math.
Banks County Middle School – the following students were recognized for Academic Excellence: Wayne Holcombe, Heidi Kreiser, Jeremiah Rogers, Nolan Steel, Jabe Andrews, and Kristin Lindeman.
Banks County High School – the following students were recognized for Academic Excellence in Subject Area:Social Studies: Andrew Humphries and Bhrett Kaminski Academic, Mathematics: Mason Bond and Alex Sears, English/Language Arts: Alyssa Zohoronacky and Ethan Yang, Science: Brooke Carlan and Kimber Meister.
