Banks County 2022 General Election Qualifying Candidates

BANKS, COUNTY – Banks County candidates considering entering the May, 2022 General Primary Election must do so before qualifying ends on March 11th at noon. The Banks County Board of Commissioners and the Board of Education each have two seats on the ballot. 

As of 8 p.m. of March 9, four candidates have qualified, all unopposed. 

On the ballot for the county commissioner, Sammy Reece (I) of District 3 and Danny Maxwell (I) of District 1 have qualified for re-election.  

On the ballot for the Board of Education, Mark Stroud and Shane Roberts have qualified for Posts 3 and 1, respectively.
